Select Jazz reeds feature the thickest spine and blank of D’Addario’s jazz reeds, with a traditional tip shape. The Select Jazz cut offers great projection, focus, and a vibrant sound. They are filed models. Offered in third strengths, rather than half strengths, so players can choose the most precise strength for their individual equipment.
Rico Select Jazz filed are, as the name suggests, developed for jazz players. The Select reeds have a strongly defined heart and a long palet, that sets a lot of the reed in motion. The mass of wood ensures good resistance and produces a soft and broad sound with the opportunity of great volume.
