The Flexitone ligature allows for perfect fitting of the reed to the mouthpiece, allowing it to vibrate freely and also amplifying the diffusion of the sound; all sound frequencies are also improved. Using an easy push-fit system, the reed is held perfectly, so that it stays in place even if the mouthpiece is adjusted.
