The Vandoren BD6 HD is part of the Black Diamond series and features High‑Density ebonite (HD) — a specially engineered material that enhances the acoustic qualities of standard ebonite, resulting in a denser, richer and more resonant tone.
With a tip opening of approximately 1.22 mm (121.5 1/100 mm) and a medium‑long facing, the BD6 HD provides an open, flexible sound with excellent projection and a consistent tone across all registers.
